Brendan Murray

 
Brendan Murray was born in North Bay, Ontario, Canada. He received professional acting training at Toronto‘s George Brown Theatre School, followed by the Stratford Conservatory for Classical Theatre Training. Most recently, Mr. Murray appeared in Salt-Water Moon at the Charlottetown Festival, under the direction of the play’s author, David French and played Bob Crachit in A Christmas Carol at the Globe Theatre in Regina, Saskatchewan. Other credits include: the world premieres of Damien Atkins’ Lucy (CanStage, Toronto) and Tom Walmsley’s Descent (Theatre Passe Muraille, Toronto), Much Ado About Nothing; Comedy of Errors (Theatre By The Bay, Barrie), Relatively Speaking; Proof; Macbeth (Grand Theatre, London), Long Day’s Journey Into Night (Centaur Theatre, Montreal), Macbeth (Modern Times, Toronto), Love’s Labour’s Lost (National Arts Centre, Ottawa), Art is a Cupboard; The Dispute (Sweat Co.), Measure for Measure; Blue/Orange (Citadel Theatre, Edmonton), Goodnight Disgrace (Postscript Productions, Stratford), Twelfth Night (CanStage), Two Noble Kinsmen; Henry VI; Henry V; Twelfth Night; Inherit the Wind (Stratford Festival). Mr. Murray could also be seen in film and on television in such productions as Instant Star, Charlie Bartlett, Jonestown: Paradise Lost, Mayday, and Slings & Arrows.
